Handmade Oilcloth Totes by TerraMaya

On the Crafty Chica Cruise, every year on the last night, we hold a Mercado Night. This is where all the cruisers get together and sell their one of a kind goodies. Everything there is pretty much to die for!

My friend, Lisa from Terra Maya, made these great oil cloth totes! ine of the best bags ever that i have owned. I have my laptop, real estate books, a small purse, my bag of beauty and other little treasures of mine, all in it! The bag is extra sturdy. This would be great as a diaper bag or carry on!

Check out Terra Maya to see all her other goodies! Great quality treasures at a reasonablr price. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Terra-Maya/165755113488032

Espresso for your ears: Locos Por Juana #SeHablaMusica

When I was on the Crafty Chica Cruise last month, Kathy couldn't stop talking about all the bands she saw in Miami a few weeks before. Locos pro Juana was one of her favorites because we wouldn't stop ranting and raving about them Lol. However when she played them on her iPhone, we all knew why! They are a group from Columbia that play reggae en español-meets region. Think of them as expresso for your ears. They will get you up on your feet and moving. Check out this video of them:

The end really is the beginning!!

Most of you already know about the break up of my marriage. Last May was the most difficult month of my life. But what I hadn't realized back then was that the end was only the beginning. The beginning  of a great new life filled with wonderful new opportunities!

As I take a close look, I realize how far I've come since May. I have accomplished so much in the last 11 months. Its unbelievable. I believe in myself! I am learning to love myself. I have learned and done things I never thought I'd be able to do. Its such a great feeling! The end of my marriage was not the end of my life. Nor was it a failure. It was only the beginning! The beginning of a better life. A happier life.

With that said, tomorrow and Friday are my divorce court dates. I am sooo clueless. I should of actually posted this a lot sooner. But any advise from my divorcee friends? What to say, what not to say, what to expect etc... ???

YES!! Exactly!!! My sentiments are exact! I think I will make a necklace with this image...

Rooftop Heaven

When you work in Social Media, you get to do hours of research. You need the right images to fit what your blogging about. I love to do this because I get to see beautiful places, things, people, art, etc. that I have never seen.

So today I was researching all about Rooftops in New York. Now New York is definitely on my bucket list of places that I will visit before the good Lord needs me. I've always wanted to go during Christmas. I want to see the Christmas the huge Christmas tree and the beautiful window shopping displays. Now here's another reason why I want to go! Check these beautiful rooftops.

My goodness. Breathe taking isn't it? If I had the budget, I would move in an instant. Well with a jun secured of course. This gives the meaning of Rooftops a whole other definition!

I would have breakfast, lunch and dinner every day on the rooftop!

I'd Host a beautiful dinner party. No need for party decorations. The city already provides it!

Now I get the, "I Heart NY" memorabilia!

7th Annual Crafty Chica Cruise

The 7th Annual Crafty Chica Cruise is right around the corner. I'm super excited! This is an event where non-crafter and crafters get together and unite! Regardless how much or how little you know, we all learn new techniques, improve our techniques, and just have so much fun. Its a total chica pow-wow!

This cruise is filled with nothing but fun, indulging in delicious food, crafting, wining and dining and my favorite...

Shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of shopping! I have a thing for bags and if I see this guy walking on the beach in Ensenada, WATCH OUT!

I just love the colors and designs that the Latino culture has. I drool when I see these beautiful colors on bags, textiles, and everything that Mexico has to offer. I can't wait to see what Ensenada has to offer! Believe it or not I have never been. I can't afford to buy anything this time around but I just love being around amazing colorful art! I'm just so excited!
